I love getting up early to capture the beautiful morning light. The water is nearly still and highly reflective, even with the nearby surf. I was surprised to find a heron feeding close to me and I was anxious to take advantage of the opportunity. The image has an extraordinary amount of detail. Look for the boats on the horizon.
